This Publication was originally produced by the EngineeringEquipment & Materials Users' Association, in the absence of anyknown international or national standard on the design of liftingpoints for plant and has been revised taking into consideration theDirective. This Publication supplements the documents listed underSection 2.1 Legislation and Regulatory Guidance which were producedby the UK Government when complying with the European Directive1998/37/EC.
